New York City
It may be the city that never sleeps, but I prefer NYC first thing in the morning. I like to get up an hour or so before sunrise, take a taxi to Brooklyn Bridge Park, and walk with camera in hand across the bridge and all the way up to midtown Manhattan where my brother lives. The view of the city from the East River as the sun creeps up behind the skyline is spectacular, and at that time in the morning, you can get the freshest bagels the city has to offer.
