Washington, DC
I called our nation's capital home for nearly 20 years and drove past the monuments and museums at least a couple of times a week, but refused to take the D.C.'s beauty and unique stature in the world for granted. Always looking for new perspectives and lighting, I stalked the National Mall with my camera around my neck countless times. Occasionally, I like to look for locations and angles that eliminate all modern elements from the viewfinder in an attempt to create an image that could've been made at any point in time during the city's history.
